Under the agreement, AmiViz will distribute Acalvio's full portfolio of deception technology-powered solutions across the Middle East, enabling enterprises to detect and neutralise advanced threats before they escalate into breaches.
The announcement, made in Dubai on 4 May 2026, signals a deliberate shift in how regional organisations are approaching cyber defence: from reactive detection to preemptive exposure.

The enterprise threat landscape across the GCC has changed considerably over the past two years. Cyberattacks are faster, more automated and increasingly AI-orchestrated. This sectoral focus aligns closely with the threat intelligence patterns emerging across the GCC. Financial institutions have faced a rise in identity-based intrusions and credential abuse. Energy operators are contending with increasingly targeted operational technology attacks. Government entities remain high-value targets for nation-state actors, many of whom deploy persistent, low-and-slow intrusion techniques that evade signature-based detection entirely.
